Half Acre Purchases a Brewhouse

It isn’t on their web site, but Half Acre put out this press release yesterday:

We at Half Acre are very excited to announce the purchase of a 15 barrel brewhouse that will be shipped over the continental divide via multiple tractor trailers to Chicago. This is a very large step that will simplify our process and aid in achieving our goals as a brewing company. Now that we own all the shiny equipment that we need, all we have to do is find a space to house it. We’re actively pursuing several spaces that all have exciting aspects, and hope to finalize something soon in order to begin construction. We’ll keep you informed and look forward to inviting you over to tour our brewery in the near future. Also, this Friday we’re sponsoring an event at the Wright Auction house. Martini Gamper, a talented, modern furniture designer, will be creating furniture from objects found at the auction house as a spontaneous performance.
